Frequently Asked

Questions

Do I have to complete my Mat training before my Reformer training?

No, we encourage you to train in the apparatus which you are most passionate about and have the most experience in! We structure our reformer courses to include the history of pilates, the basic principles, anatomy and all of the fundamentals that are commonly only covered in mat courses by other education providers.

Do you offer a combined course?

No, we believe that each piece of apparatus deserves your full love and attention! We separate our training into separate courses so that there is no compromise in the quality of your education. You will receive the highest level of knowledge and support for each piece of apparatus.

We offer a £600 discount for any student who books Mat & Reformer at the same time.

Do I need to sit your Human Movement course?

If you don’t have an existing level 3 fitness qualification, you will need to sit our Human Movement course which will take you through the anatomy, biomechanics, biological & energy systems of the human body.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, you can pay by credit card or via Klarna so that you can spread the cost of learning and organise payment terms that best suit your circumstances.

Can I use your qualification to teach abroad?

Absolutely!

Did you know, Pilates is actually legally an ungoverned industry? This means that there is no rule as to where you have to complete your training. This puts the responsibility on the student to find a training provider that delivers a high standard of education in a supportive learning environment (don’t worry, we’ve got you covered)

Our programme is fully insured and accredited through ITTAP by The Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). This is an internationally recognised body who are committed to maintaining a high standards in Pilates education.

All of our students undergo comprehensive assessment, practical training and continued education to meet these hours. We will provide you with a ‘letter of validation’ that includes our content criteria, our international alignment and insurance coverage.

How much experience do I need to book on to one of your Teacher Training courses?

Like any other job, the more experience you have in something, the easier you will find it.

We ask for a minimum of 50 hours experience attending classes in your chosen apparatus. 30 of these should be attending ‘Classical Pilates’ classes so that you have a sound understanding of the original exercises. These can be clocked up on the road to your intensive course dates.

Fundamentally, you are more likely to succeed at something you are passionate about and there is more chance work will feel like play!

Can I train with you if my existing qualification is from a different education provider?

Absolutely, we allow anyone who has an existing certification from another accredited school to continue their education with us.

We are passionate about removing barriers to education in hope of supporting you to be the best teacher you can be.
