The Strength & Endurance on Apparatus Course is designed to deepen your understanding of how to effectively build strength, stamina, and resilience using spring-based Pilates equipment. Ideal for instructors looking to expand their teaching toolkit, this course combines Pilates principles with progressive loading strategies to help clients move beyond foundational work and develop greater physical capacity.
Focusing on Pilates equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda Chair, you’ll learn how spring tension can be manipulated to challenge both muscular strength and endurance in a controlled, intelligent way. The course explores how resistance, tempo, range of motion, and repetition can be programmed to create targeted outcomes - whether that’s improving muscular endurance, developing strength, or enhancing overall movement efficiency.
A key element of the training is understanding how to layer intensity without compromising technique. You’ll learn how to structure sessions and sequences that are progressive, adaptable, and appropriate for a range of abilities, while still staying true to core Pilates principles such as alignment, control, and breath.
With a strong emphasis on real-life teaching application, the course equips you with practical strategies to coach clients through more demanding work on the apparatus. You’ll develop confidence in cueing, adapting exercises, and creating dynamic, engaging sessions that safely push clients towards their goals.
