What does it cost to train with The Pilates Programme?
Pilates teacher training at The Pilates Programme, Altrincham costs £2,200 for Mat, Reformer or Barre, including the online course, four or five in-person days, manual, video library, workshops and all three exams. Pay in full or in four monthly interest-free payments. Two courses together cost £3,400. Apparatus courses run from £800 and CPD days are £250.

Additional costs to plan for
- Studio hire for practice hours. Available at the centre; ask us for the current rate.
- Equipment hire. £5 per hour.
- The online app. £10 a month, optional, for observation hours and your own practice.
- Insurance. You will need teacher insurance before you teach paid classes. Budget for an annual policy from a specialist fitness insurer.
- Travel. The centre is a short walk from Altrincham train and tram interchange.

In-person hours are based on the number of practical days. Online study, workshops and the video library are on top of this.

How many classes does it take to pay back the fee?
Divide the course fee by what local studios pay per class, and you have the number of classes to recover it. Most graduates teach several classes a week, so the fee comes back within months rather than years.

Questions about payment
How much does Pilates teacher training cost?
Mat, Reformer and Barre teacher training each cost £2,200. That includes the online Human Movement course, the in-person days (four for Mat, five for Reformer or Barre), your manual, the video library, all workshops and all exams. There are no extra fees for assessment or certification. You can pay in full or in four monthly interest-free payments.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Qualify courses can be paid in four monthly interest-free payments of £550. A double booking of two courses can be spread over six payments. CPD can be paid in two instalments. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Is there a discount for booking two courses?
Yes. Book any two of Mat, Reformer and Barre together for £3,400, a saving of £1,000, with the option of six monthly interest-free payments.
Is there a discount if I already have a fitness qualification?
Students with an existing Level 3 fitness qualification receive £400 off. Email a copy of your certificate to info@thepilatesprogramme.co.uk and we will send you a discount code.
What is your refund policy?
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If something changes before your course, email us as early as you can and we will do what we can to help.
Are there any extra costs to plan for?
Exams, your manual and assessment are included. Beyond the course fee you may want to budget for studio or equipment hire for practice hours, teacher insurance once you start teaching, and travel to Altrincham. The pricing page lists current hire rates.
